My character Enorach again! No, he's not holding the sword in the wrong way, it was a real technique used in medieval times when facing armored opponents. It was called Mordhau, or "murder-stroke", and consisted in holding the sword by the blade and using the guard and pommel like they were a mace, basically.
Anyways! As you can see from the pretty look of this sketch, I'm back home, which means in the next days I'll be able to post colored drawings as well. Also, I plan to take the scanner with me, which means I'll be able to post decent artwork more regularly throughout the year.

I learned about this attack from my military history class some parts of the sword isn't sharp so if you need to take down a Armored opponent you can hit them with the handle, the parts that aren't sharp are the middle half and the lower half .
